Homeschooling in problem solving

In the subject of problem solving, we introduce the children to a number of effective models and tools for identifying, defining and solving complex problems.

Subject purpose and curriculum

We have taken as our starting point the state's, and including the Ministry of Education's, objectives and guiding guidelines and learning objectives for basic educational content, so that we ensure that mandatory and important learning is the framework for the teaching and is appropriate for the age level. The curriculum has been updated to 2024 and is thus ensured of the latest knowledge and methods. We have also compiled the curriculum overview for you, so that you can keep up with what you should be able to do. We refer to the description of the subject's objectives and the full curriculum overview here:

Concrete methods for tackling challenges

Through methods such as SWOT analysis, Double Diamond and the PDSA model, children will learn to tackle challenges systematically and effectively. Our teaching focuses on strengthening their analytical skills and ability to think creatively and critically in problematic situations.

Think ahead and find solutions

By teaching problem-solving, children not only learn to solve problems, but also to think ahead and evaluate their solutions critically. The course strengthens their perseverance, decision-making skills and resilience in the face of challenges – skills that are essential in school, in everyday life and in the future.
