Homeschooling in Danish

School To Go offers a structured and flexible solution for homeschooling in Danish, covering both the basic and more advanced parts of the curriculum. We ensure that the child gains a solid understanding of both literature and language use, while adhering to the Danish Primary Education Act and the mandatory learning objectives for Danish.

Subject purpose and curriculum

We have taken as our starting point the state's, including the Ministry of Education's, objectives and guiding guidelines and learning objectives for basic teaching content, so that we ensure that we follow mandatory and important learning, are the framework for the teaching and are appropriate for the age level. The curriculum has been updated to 2024 and is thus ensured of the latest knowledge and methods. We have also compiled the curriculum overview for you, so that you can keep up with what you should be able to do. We refer to the description of the subject's objectives and the full curriculum overview here:

Versatile curriculum

Our large curriculum platform includes everything from reading skills, writing, oral communication, grammar and text comprehension.

We also cover the mandatory literary canon, so you can dive into works by authors such as HC Andersen, Astrid Lindgren and newer authors such as Kim Fupz Aakeson and Jakob Martin Strid.

With us you get:

  • Flexibility: We offer home education that can be adapted to the child's schedule and individual needs.

  • Necessary goals: With our platform, you can ensure that the child follows the necessary goals for the Danish subject, including the development of reading skills, writing, and oral communication.

  • Support for language and literature: We strengthen the child's understanding of both fiction and academic texts, which develops their personal and cultural identity.

  • Adapted learning: We accommodate children with special needs, such as children with autism, by offering calm and structured learning outside of the school setting.

Individual learning needs

We have created a platform that is tailored to meet your child's individual learning needs, making us an ideal solution for both parents who want to homeschool your child and those of you who are looking for extra support in specific subjects.
