Subject purpose and curriculum
We have taken as our starting point the state's, and including the Ministry of Education's, objectives and guiding guidelines and learning objectives for basic educational content, so that we ensure that mandatory and important learning is the framework for the teaching and is appropriate for the age level. The curriculum has been updated to 2024 and is thus ensured of the latest knowledge and methods. We have also compiled the curriculum overview for you, so that you can keep up with what you should be able to do. We refer to the description of the subject's objectives and the full curriculum overview here:
The many aspects of society
Through a wide range of topics, we take the children through the many aspects that are relevant to understanding the structure and conditions of our society. This applies to political ideologies, human rights, environmental challenges and the development of the labor market.
Individual learning needs
We have created a platform that is tailored to meet your child's individual learning needs, making us an ideal solution for both parents who want to homeschool your child and those of you who are looking for extra support in specific subjects.
Understand the structure and systems of society
Our platform enables children to:
Learning about political systems: We offer an understanding of how political systems function at both national and international levels, and what role citizens play in democratic processes.
Gain insight into economic systems: Children learn about different economic models such as market economy, planned economy and mixed economy.
Explore social and global issues: We delve into current topics such as migration, globalization, gender equality and climate change, giving the children a holistic view of the development of society.
Analyze the influence of the media: Children will understand how media and social platforms can influence political processes and public debate.
Learning about rights and social responsibility: We give children insight into human rights and the importance of active participation in democracy.
